Justin grew up in Flint, MI. working at Bill Schaffer's Drum Shop while in high school opened several doors for Justin. He began sneaking into fellow drummers shows, and playing percussion with the bands to avoid getting thrown out of a club for being too young. While doing that, Justin met Pat Savage. Pat took Justin under his wing and showed him how to play and function, and what the role of the drums were in a band. Around that time Justin began playing with local Blues Rock acts including The Brian Schram Band, Robert Penn and started doing Studio work with a few as well. Since then Justin has had the chance to tour and record with some of the best musicians in the buisness; including Motor City Josh and Shawn Kellerman. After spending 2004-2008 living in Detroit and Touring almost 300 days a year Justin decided he was ready for a change. So in Dec. of 2008, Justin took a gig with The Sauce Boss and moved to Pensacola, FL. Soon after, Justin began doing shows with several other blues acts on his free time. Including Albert Cummings and The Nouveaux Honkies. Justin now spends half of his time at home with his fiance' Jen and daughter Lyric where he is currently working on opening a Drum Shop and Lesson Studio of his own. The other half of Justin's time is still spent "kickin' some ass" out on tour or in the studio with The Sauce Boss, Albert Cummings and several others. Looking into the future; Justin hopes to be able to continue to do what he does. As he looks at everyday as a Blessing!
